Once Was

Repurpose, recycle, reuse.

That beautiful old hand made cabinet that was once used as a nightstand would be perfect to house your CD's. A vintage enamelware breadbox would be a nifty little file holder on your desk. An old set of blue flow dishes could be used through out your home to weave a master pallet and design throughout: use a teacup as a tealight candleholder, use a berry bowl as a soapdish, use a pitcher as a vase or a planter, use plates as wall decor, use a serving bowl as your dog's waterdish, use a platter as your hallway catch-all for keys, gloves and change.

It doesn't take an interior decorator to redecorate your interior. All it takes is a little thought, a little style, and a place like Scranberry Coop. Come into the Coop and check out the deals. Let your imagination run free.

I just absolutely love the idea of buying a set of antique dishes to use to decorate your whole house. It will weave a color or a pattern througout the house. I've always hung plates on the wall in ornate plate racks. What a great idea this is! Thanks for the inspiration!
