OMG I want those southpark tapes! We lost power during irene and i learned my lesson with the kids bored. i bought one of those old tv vhs player combo things for ten bucks and have been picking up vhs tapes for it. well we lost electric and dish again with the last hurricane. hubby and i were busy dealing with the water in the basement, kids were entertained for hours with old vhs tapes. when they went to bed hubby and i watched some. if you can pick them up for cheap its totally worth it for emergencys. just keep lots of batteries. i didn't think to look there for old vhs tapes

I'm so glad you brought this up. So many of our dealers have used VHS tapes, DVD's, CD's, and Cassettes in addition to classic vinyl. I did something similar to what you did during the power outages in the bad weather; I watched some old DVD's on my laptop until the battery died. I've been picking up more like you said, when they are inexpensive just to have on hand for some entertainment for the next time. They are predicting a pretty severe winter ahead! Stock up on those VHS tapes! ;)
