Baking Cookies This Christmas? Here's a Great Idea!

The holidays are here!

Are you baking cookies for the neighbor? Bringing your special bean casserole along to someone else's house who's hosting a holiday dinner this year?

Instead of disposables, or worrying about getting your good dishes returned, why not give the gift of a dish along with your special eats?

When you bring that pie or cake to a friend or hostess, bring it on a platter you buy with the intent of giving them away as part of the gift.

Wrap up brownies for your daughter in college and put them in a vintage metal lunch box. Put a gift card in a coffee cup or taped to a vintage thermos. Put fudge or chocolates in a classic cookie jar or candy dish.

This is a fun thing to do all year round. Bring flowers from your garden to a a neighbor in a mason jar or a vintage pitcher. Bring watermelon to a barbecue or tortilla chips and salsa to a Super Bowl party in a nice big vintage dip and chip set.

Scranberry Coop is the perfect place to pick up some extra bowls, platters, cups and plates. Terrific extras for your holiday table, and awesome gifts to accompany your home baking and hostess gifts where ever you're going this year. Come find your treasure of Scranberry Coop!
