And there are MANY shapes and sizes to our approximately 150 individual unique booth spaces.
They run from $95 – $650.
It's pretty easy to join our family of Scranberry Coop Dealers. Here's some of the facts and information you'll need.
Scranberry Coop retains 5% of your sales as a commission.
One month’s rent is held as a security deposit;
It is forfeited if you do not fulfill your lease agreement.
A rental lease period is one year.
Spaces really do vary. There are locking glass door cases great for jewelry, coins and smaller collectibles. There are large rooms with floor space for furniture and bigger items. And there's every size in between.
For most booths you are free to arrange and re-arrange your shelving and display ideas your way.
Dealers have a lot of perks. Our Flea Markets and all our events are open exclusively to our family of dealers as vendors.
Other than charities, no one else can have a table or sell their items at our events.
Also, we have this active website and our Pinterest, and our Facebook page. Your items may be photographed and included.
If someone sees your item online they may tag it, share it, re-post it and talk about it.
At the Coop we are big proponents of the concept SHOP LOCALLY.
We're a family owned single-location neighborhood store.
This is the very heart of Go-Green thinking.
There is no requirement of floor time from you as a dealer. We take care of staffing and running the shop.
Scranberry Coop collects and pays all of the state sales tax.
You do not even need to have a registered tax ID.
Liability Insurance is required, your cost is $100 per year.
But we'll take care of all that paperwork.
We do all the office stuff. We staff the store, file the taxes, we snow plow and cut the grass, we clean the bathrooms, pay the utilities, open up the shop, and close it down when day is done.
As a dealer you can relax and concentrate on the fun stuff: YOUR stuff.
If you're a seasoned dealer, you know what a great opportunity this is.
To rent a booth at Scranberry Coop you have to speak directly to Lori or Tzveta, the owners. Tzveta in particular handles the rentals. But anybody here can show you around and help you to arrange that meeting. :)
You can call 973-786-6414 to arrange a time to come in. You do have to come in. Booth rental can't be handled online or over the phone. You can email Tzveta and Lori, at scranberryoffice@gmail.com to arrange a time to come in, too.
We'll answer any questions you have regarding your space while we're showing you around. There are some rules, such as you can't sell live animals or fireworks. Not that you wanted to, but we'll go over the rules, and our vision of what Scranberry Coop offers.
See the booths that are coming up for rent, and get your name on the waiting list. There's fast turnover here!
If you have an online shop such as an eBay store or a website, having a physical local booth may be the right compliment to your already established business.
If you're an artist, a re-saler, a specialty gifts dealer, an antique expert, a vintage finds treasure hunter, a flea market fanatic, or just a casual collector with a flare for decorating, come talk to us.
The Scranberry Coop may be for you!
